Fibrous Solids Handling

The SAMCO® CPX/HMX Series is a single-stage Shearpeller non-clog process pump featuring the patented Shearpeller impeller design for handling large stringy or fibrous solids, entrained air and highly viscous slurries.

Engineered for applications that are too severe for conventional centrifugal solids-handling pumps, the CPX | HMX combines shear action with conventional lift forces to deliver reliable performance in the most demanding industrial environments.

*Designed for applications too severe for conventional solids-handling centrifugal pumps.

Key Features

Patented Shearpeller Impeller

Combines shear forces with conventional lift forces to pass large fibrous solids without clogging.

High Air-Handling Capability

Capable of handling up to 26% entrained air by volume.

Non-Clog Flow Path

Unobstructed passages allow material entering the suction nozzle to pass through the pump.

Centre-Line Discharge & Self-Venting Volute

Improves air evacuation and operational stability.

Handles Large Solids

Capable of passing solids up to 114 mm in size.

Field Conversion Capability

Existing CPP, CPW and HM pumps can be converted to CPX/HMX configurations using conversion components.
